Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Honr’ble External Affairs Ministry and Mr. E. Ahmed, Mininster of State External Affairs, Govt. of India visited to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia last week. Utilizing with this opportunity a delegation of “Tanzeem Hum Hindustani” including Mohammed Quaiser, President THH, Imtiaz Ahsan, Secretary THH and Mirza Azmathullah Baig, Joint Secreatry, THH met the Honorable Ministers separatly and handed over a memorandum to them at Indian Emabssy and Riyadh Palace Hotel respectively and diverted their attention towards a number of issues facing by the NRIS’ including a demand to open a consulate office in Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia.
Mohammed Quaiser briefed to Ministers about the increase in thefts, loots and snaching incidents in various cities specially in Riyadh. Indian citizens are becoming soft targets for calprits, emphasized that to take this matter up to the hingher authorities so as to save Indians by such incidents.
Tanzeem Hum Hindustani also representded to do necessary arrangements for the certificate attestation by Foreign Affairs Ministery here itself after the varification of Indian Embassy in KSA. Presently certificates has to be send to the Saudi Embassy in Delhi or in Saudi Consulate in Bombay and it is time consuming and also hectic for the needy people to visit these places or to wait for a long time for attestation.
Hum Hindustani also demanded to open consulate in Dammam as 30% of 1.6 Million Indians are working in Eastern Region and facing a number of difficulties in settling their embassy related issues. A sizeable portion of NRIS are labours and it is a burden on them to come to Riyadh 500 KM away.
Hum Hindustani has pointedout to do necessary arragnements that NRIS should exercise their fundamental right of voting to choose the Governments.
It is also said in the memorandum that Govt. of India should take necessary steps for the education of NRIS’ children and further in case of repatriation. Govt. should introduce solid schemes for their employment and rehabiliation. Quaiser said NRIS are the major source of foreign exchange and instrumental in generating countrys revenue.
“Tanzeem Hum Hindustani” also demanded to the ministers to constitute a group containing public representatives, officials of external affairs & overseas ministry to study the problems of NRIS of Gulf in depth for working out the solutions.

చి తా భస్మం నుంచి లేచివచ్చిన ఫీనిక్స్ పక్షి.. టపటపా రెక్కలు కొట్టుకుంటున్నప్పుడు.. అలసిపోలేదా మిత్ర మా. కన్నీటి కాలాల ఆగడ్తల మధ్య. డస్సిపోలేదా మిత్రమా.. ఏండ్ల కేండ్లు ఏటికి ఎదురీదిన రెక్కలు. మూడున్నర దశాబ్దాల అనంతరం. నీ బలమైన ఒకప్పటి బాహువుల స్థానే.. కొంచెం పీలగా నరాలుతేలిన ఆ పిడికిలి ఆకాశంలోకి విసురుతూ ..నువ్వింకా..నీ ఆశయాలను పలకరిస్తూ… ఆ తుపాను తెమ్మెర లాగే ఉంటూ.. ఇంకా ఉన్నందుకు.. ఇంకా మిగిలినందుకు.. కలలు తెగిపడ్తున్న బీభత్స దృశ్యాల్లోనూ కొన ఊపిరుల మంట లు సాస్తున్నందుకూ.. కానీ మిత్రమా… పడమటిగాలి మింగే స్తున్న తూరుపుగాలిలో ఫీనిక్స్లు మళ్లీ చితా భస్మాలవుతున్న ఒక కానికాలం.
